- Designed to serve as teaching instruments for children, the bored holes of the Hohner Alegra Series recorders, including the B95852, are closer together, making them more comfortable to reach for smaller, growing hands. With a focus on hygiene, the plastic mouthpiece is not only easy to clean, but has been impregnated with silver ions, which ensures that the material is bacteria free as little as an hour after being played. To give the instrument a traditional finish and sound, the body has been made from pearwood. This edition has German fingering. Safe on All Sides As well as an antibacterial mouthpiece, this recorder bears other thoughtful features, including a Roll Stop mechanism that prevents the recorder from rolling across a tabletop and falling to the floor. It also comes with a strong woven nylon soft-case to keep the instrument free of dust and dirt, and to keep it safe on the way to lessons and rehearsals.
