Blackman has been part of various jazz projects from recording albums to performing with artists such as Lenny Kravitz Sonny Simmons Sam Rivers and Joss Stone to name a few. Blackman started playing the drums at a young age going on to study at Berklee College of Music. One of Blackmans biggest influences is jazz drummer Tony Williams.
