- The J. Rockett Aqueous is a versatile modulation pedal that combines classic "bucket-brigade"" chorus and vibrato sounds with modern flexibility. Thanks to its analogue signal processing and built-in preamp, you retain volume and punch, something lost with many modulation pedals. The Tilt EQ lets you tune the signal perfectly: go for warm, vintage chorus or opt for a bright, modern vibe. The Speed and Depth controls give you control over the modulation speed and intensity of the chorus/vibe effects. The Mix knob lets you control the balance between the dry signal and the effect itself. The housing is compact and sturdy, and the pedal is powered via a standard 9 V DC adapter (battery power is not possible). Whether you are looking for subtle modulation for soft passages or dramatic, atmospheric, ""spacy"" sounds, the Aqueous offers many timbres and is suitable for a variety of genres and playing styles, no doubt an asset to your pedalboard."
