Product Description
- Materials chosen for the best sound The E string is made of solid steel a common choice for higher register strings. The A has an aluminium winding on its stranded synthetic core. Aluminium is chosen for its superior responsiveness to the bow and its brilliant sound. The G and C are wound with silver again over a stranded synthetic core. Silver is chosen due to its slightly darker quality making it perfect for getting the most out of your instruments lowest strings. About Jargar Jargar began in 1956 after years of experimentation by Danish cellist Jarl Hansen who wanted more from his cello than the gut strings he was using could provide. He developed a string with a core of steel and wound with pure or alloyed metal. Like many other string makers Hansen realised that steel cores offered far greater stability and durability than gut and a stronger tone. These strings grew to be extremely popular amongst classical musicians and the company expanded providing for violin viola and double bass. Specifications Tension: Medium String note: G Core material: Stranded synthetic core End: Ball end Winding: Silver Instrument size: 4/4 String diameter: 0.75 mm
