- The Johnson JR-850E-SB resonator guitar has a mahogany body and neck, with a rosewood fingerboard and finished in a Sunburst Gloss finish. This guitar has a so-called spider cone, the bridge is supported by a spider-like construction that is connected to the cone and its shape provides extra sustain. You can play this guitar acoustically, but also connect it to an amplifier. There is a single coil element at the neck, volume and tone are controlled with rotary knobs on the top.
