- The Kase Sony Alpha MCUV Clip In Filter is designed to be used with select Sony cameras. It adds a layer of multi coating for reducing haze and also acts as a protective cover to the image sensor when shooting in rough environments. Weighing in at just 3.3 grams, this compact filter is easy to store and transport. It is exquisitely crafted from B270 optical glass to ensure outstanding image clarity. It is also featured with premium-grade waterproof and oil-resistant nano-coatings to provide added sensor protection and assured image quality. Many super-telephoto lenses and wide-angle lenses cannot attach any traditional filter to front filter rings. This MCUV clip-in filter solves that issue by mounting inside the camera body. The installation is easy and quick, and removing the filter is simplified with the use of a supplied removal tool. The supplied black shading fabric helps to reduce stray lens flare.
