This tube - similar to that of a bass reflex speaker - is mounted in the resonance sheet of a bass drum. Your kick drum sound then has significantly more focus and more bass. The Kickport is also an excellent attenuator. Installation and technology: The KickPort is easy to install. You can cut or slit a 5-5.5-inch hole in your drumhead. The Kickport then ensures that the hole is neatly sealed. Thanks to the Kickport, extra compression is built up during a kick. This gives a harder punch and improved head response. This KickPort is tunable and reusable when replacing your drumhead.
