The compact outline keeps the instrument close to the player encouraging relaxed posture and reducing fatigue during extended sessions. Ultra-thin lightweight construction With a body thickness of just 34mm at its thickest point the Kodex 2H is exceptionally slim and lightweight. The alder body contributes to a clear balanced tonal response while keeping overall weight low. A thin satin finish allows the wood to resonate freely producing an open and lively acoustic character. This construction makes the guitar highly responsive to picking dynamics and comfortable to play for long periods whether rehearsing recording or performing live. Modern neck profile with premium details A one-piece mahogany neck is shaped to a modern D profile offering a comfortable fast-playing feel that supports precise articulation and low-action setups. The ebony fingerboard features a 12-inch radius and 24 jumbo frets allowing smooth string bending and confident lead playing without fretting out. A 24.75-inch scale length provides a familiar slightly slinkier feel under the fingers. The slotted headstock paired with high-quality Schertler tuning machines reduces headstock mass and helps maintain excellent overall balance.
