- this DIY FX pedal provides an easy-to-build kit that requires zero soldering. The customisable design of the kit allows you to craft your own overdrive tone to suit your own style. One of the most prominent components within the kit is the custom-made (by Korg and Noritake Itron Corporation) analog triode vacuum tube. The specialised vacuum tube utilises an anode grid and filament to capture the rich harmonics of conventional tubes in a more compact and efficient design. Vast customisable sonic palette With two gain knobs and a two-position switch the OD-S allows you to customise the overdrive tone to suit you. The Gain knob controls the vacuum tubes input level whilst the Tube Gain knob adjusts the load of the vacuum tube amplification circuit for in-depth sound adjustment. The two-position allows you to toggle between two varying overdrive types each with their own high/low ranges. For advanced users the modification-friendly layout allows you to swap out the discrete components to create a truly unique pedal
