- The Laowa 15mm f2 Zero-D Lens provides powerful ultra wide-angle images via its 110° angle of view. This prime lens is perfect for astro and landscape photographers who require rectilinear optics, and its ultra-fast f/2 aperture gives sharpness/brightness to the image.The lens comprises of 12 elements in 9 groups (2 aspherical and 3 extra-low dispersion), and even though distortion has been minimised, chromatic aberrations are kept to a manageable level. Videographers also have the luxury of a click-less/clicked aperture switch. Laowa are aware of the struggles that come with ultra-wide and fast lenses being bulky with large dome-shaped front elements - a serious issue for landscape photographers who interchange multiple filters.
