- Designed for versatile handheld macro shooting, the Laowa 25mm f2.8 Ultra-Macro Lens offers a unique adjustable magnification range from 2.5x to 5x. Having the option to change your magnification ratio provides the option to develop ideas and ways of shooting on-the-fly without the need to change lenses. The lens is also surprisingly small and compact and offers ample working/focusing distances which means you're able to bring in sufficient lighting as well the lens being more manoeuvrable than other, larger macro lenses. Additionally, thanks to the wide focal 25mm focal length, you gain the added bonus of shooting at a much deeper depth of field over longer length macro lenses on the market.
