Product Fundamentals
- The timbau is a Brazilian instrument used in samba and other Latin music. You will see this hand drum in street parades where people carry it with a harness. It has a deep and warm sound and is made of real wood. The synthetic skin is resistant to drying out and temperature differences and will not stretch or sag due to the weather. This makes the timbau a suitable outdoor instrument. Highly regarded percussion specialist Michael Spiro helped design the LP3314.
