Gut strings provide a warm rich tone quality and this rosin is designed to encourage this with brighter and clearer sounds. This rosin also gives the feeling that the bow is quicker on the strings and therefore makes it easier for performers to play at a faster pace. The gentle yet clean attack and smoother traction allow the strings to resonate freely with maximal clarity. The smoother traction allows the strings to be played with more intensity without distortion and also helps to reduce any unwanted sounds which are often encountered when using modern rosins on these strings. Ethically Produced Leatherwood Rosin as a company strongly value the environment and are constantly finding ways to reduce reuse and recycle the materials used in their rosin production. All of the materials and ingredients used are sustainably sourced. Their speciality timber is sourced from registered timber mills in Australia who are licensed to harvest and mill certain amounts.
