The polypropylene doesnt have to be preconditioned before use and it can be easily cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. Many traditional cane reeds have slight differences from one reeds strength to another but due to Legere reeds being made from composite materials you can be assured that every reed will be absolutely consistent.
