The standout features of the M3x DAC include its use of the SRC4392 a top-notch sample rate converter from Burr Brown which re-clocks all PCM signals and converts them into 24 bits and 192 kHz. This sophisticated up-sampling process ensures minimal distortion levels enhancing your digital music playback experience. The M3xs PCM1795 DAC can handle PCM rates of up to 24 bits as well as 192kHz and native and DoP DSD of up to DSD256 further reinforcing its technical prowess. DSD files are played in their original format without upsampling. Both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR outputs have their own output buffer delivering superb audio quality with very low noise large output voltage swing and high current drive. The exceptional gain bandwidth and fast slew rate result in exceptionally low distortion making the M3x a fantastic choice of DAC for hi-fi enthusiasts.
