- The M132 Super Comp by MXR is a very complete compression pedal for guitars. This incredibly tough stomp box improves the sustain of your guitar, just like its sibling, the Dyna Comp Compressor. The major difference between the two is that the Super Comp has an attack control that allows you to retain the bite and force of your attack. It facilitates shredding solo sounds and crystal-clear cleans! Using the M132 Super Comp Like the Dyna Comp, the M132 Super Comp can handle high inputs, like those of EMG humbucker pickups, for instance. It subsequently compresses the incoming sound, after which you can set the level of compression with the sensitivity control. With too much compression at the start of your attack, dynamics and expression are lost, which is why the M132 features an attack control that allows you to separately adjust the initial compression. Lastly, you can use the output to adjust the overall volume.
