- The MXR M307 Layers opens up a world of sounds. This sustain pedal shapes lush, organic sustain with every strum or string-pluck, giving way to mesmerising soundscapes and life-packed stereo pads. Ideal for creative tone-tinkerers, this stompbox can produce up to three layers, each of which has its mini LED status indicator. You can also simply flip the Single switch and stick to a single layer, or engage the Octave switch to add deep undertones. The M307 Layers: Maximum Control The layers can be manually activated via the fitted footswitch or automatically triggered based on your playing via the Trig control. Play a note or chord and simply hold down the footswitch, and when you release it, the layer will be sustained for as long as the Decay pot setting dictates. You can also combine both methods for even more complex soundscapes, or use a keyboard sustain pedal or another external switch like the MXR Split + Tap to activate the layers.
