- Brings the legendary sound of the 80s to your pedalboard. Originally developed in 1982 by Tom Scholz (Boston), the Rockman X100 was a headphone amplifier with versatile sound options and effects. MXR has reissued the device as a pedal that preserves the typical clear sounds, crunch and chorus effects of the original. It offers four presets, analogue compression, mono/stereo modes and an external control option. The compression has been revised and adapts dynamically to the input gain.
