The Neumann KK 145 capsule is suitable for Neumann KM A and KM D output modules. Like the popular KM 184, the kk 145 has a cardioid directional characteristic. In addition, the kk 145 has a bass roll off making the capsule much less sensitive to wind, contact noise and proximity effect. Therefore, the kk 145 is an excellent choice for close miking.
