The Chance control determines how often repeats occur allowing patterns to feel unstable or sparse rather than strictly rhythmic. Smear diffuses delay repeats into reverb-like textures while Time sets the fundamental delay length. This design encourages evolving soundscapes that change organically over time making Parting ideal for ambient experimental and generative approaches. Clock manipulation and signal degradation Parting includes multiple ways to destabilise and degrade the signal. Dissolve reduces sample rate for lo-fi textures or sends the signal into reverse with increasingly unstable clocks. Glitch manipulates delay and modulation clocks by doubling or halving their speed with optional random behaviour for unpredictable shifts. These features allow tones to collapse stutter or warp in controlled ways adding character without completely obscuring the source signal. Deep modulation and filtering control A flexible modulation section provides tremolo or vibrato with adjustable Rate Depth and Shape allowing everything from gentle movement to extreme modulation. Filter controls apply post-delay filtering with selectable low-pass or high-pass modes shaping brightness and focus.
