Furnished with a passive three-way system, this speaker wields the optimally balanced combo of a bass-pumping woofer, mid-range driver, and a high-range tweeter, all backed up by a passive crossover filter that carves up and distributes the correct frequencies to the correct driver. The Omnitronic TMX-1230 Passive Speaker Built for stage work, this speaker has been housed in a trapezium-shaped wooden cabinet so it can be set up on its side to serve as a full-range monitor as well as upright as part of the PA system, and since a 35mm stand flange has been fitted to the base, it can even be mounted on a speaker stand. The cabinet has been reinforced with steel corners and a heavy-duty protective metal grille, while the rear panel has been equipped with a locking speaker input and a locking speaker output for chaining multiple cabs.
