- The Onkyo P-80 Network Preamplifier is designed for discerning listeners building a flexible room-tuned system with separate power amplification. At the core Onkyos DIDRC circuitry and high-resolution DAC work to reduce high-frequency noise so streamed and digital sources come across with a more relaxed analogue-like character. A dedicated MM/MC phono stage with a discrete MC circuit means low-output cartridges are amplified cleanly before they reach your power amp. Dirac Live room correction and the Fidelity IQ auto loudness function then adapt the response to your room and listening level helping you keep a balanced involving sound whether youre listening quietly or at higher volumes. With RCA and balanced XLR pre-outs two subwoofer outputs HDMI ARC digital inputs and network streaming from services like Spotify TIDAL and more via the Onkyo Controller app the P-80 slots naturally at the centre of a modern 2.2-channel system while still supporting classic hi-fi sources.
