- In traditional Latin American music, they know requinto guitars very well: they have a shorter neck but also a deeper body and therefore sound louder than standard models. This Ortega RQC25 is a 1/2-size classical guitar and is thus designed according to that Requinto technique. The scale is quite short - 535 mm - and the body has a depth of 110 mm. This little guitar plays very smoothly and thus sounds a lot louder than you are used to from this size. This instrument is perfect for young beginners with small hands, but also adult guitarists who want to play in an unamplified, acoustic setting or are looking for a compact travel guitar can benefit from this.
