- This small sturdy RUTI-CC produces a full and warm sound thanks to its solid cedar top. Besides the warm and full sound, the concert ukulele also looks tough. The uke from the timber series has sides and a back made of ovangkol which, combined with the cedar, gives it a rough appearance. But where the RUTI-CC really scores points in terms of looks are the details. For instance, the concert uke has a subtle binding of walnut and maple and the neck has position markers made of maple. To make sure you will be playing this little string instrument for a long time to come, it also features a bone nut. This ensures a clear sound and the nut will wear out a lot less.
