So that people can still enjoy these fantastic cartridges Ortofon are reproducing MKII versions of the styli used on the famed 500 series so that you can enjoy your vintage Ortofon cartridges for years to come. The replacement stylus offers a frequency response of 20-20000 Hz at + 2 / - 3 dB ensuring crisp clear audio across a wide spectrum. Its tracking ability at 315Hz at the recommended tracking force of 70 µm coupled with dynamic lateral compliance of 25 µm/mN ensures smooth accurate playback. The Nude Elliptical type stylus with a tip radius of r/R 8/18 µm delivers precise sound reproduction with minimal distortion. It operates within a tracking force range of 1.25-1.75 g (12.5-17.5 mN) with a recommended force of 1.5 g (15 mN) and a tracking angle of 20 degrees. The black stylus is recommended for use with the Series 510 MkII 510 510P.
