- 14-inch hi-hat cymbals full of holes! They are made in Switzerland and produce a unique sound similar to that produced by an analogue drum machine. They are perfect for electronic music and hip hop beats, and ideal as a second hi-hat set for your drum kit. Raw sound When closed, the Swiss Hats deliver a raw, dry sound, even at low volume. Open, the sound is a lot louder with a short to medium sustain, depending on how open they are. They are made from a CuSn8 alloy, which is similar to B8, and have a silky finish.
