- This PDP Concept Series snare drum is made of brass and delivers a very dry, warm sound with quite a bit of volume projection. The snare is made of brass and has a fairly thin shell of just 1.2 mm thick. This ensures maximum volume projection, allowing you to get above the loudest stage sound. The snare has a diameter of 14 inches, a depth of 8 inches and features high-quality shell hardware from DW. The shell is also brushed, giving it a cool matte finish!
