- If you would like to have a passive loudspeaker that is not only usable as a fixed installation but also mobile, with the IP44-rated Peavey Impulse 1012 White you get a perfect solution. This two-way speaker with an impedance of 8 ohms has an RMS power of 500 watts, but peaks of up to 2000 watts are simply achievable. The 12-inch Black Widow woofer handles the lower frequencies smoothly, getting support for the highs from an RX22N Neodymium compression driver under a 110-degree by 80-degree dispersion. The end result is a clear and full sound. What is also handy are the two extra slanted sides that make the Impulse 1012 usable as a floor monitor. The Impulse 1012 can be used with a stand or can be hung, for which you need the optional VM-70 mounting bracket. Connection is via two NL-4 speakons or wire terminals.
