The Peli 1550 BK Flight Case: Built to Handle Rough Conditions The Peli 1550 BK is made of ultra-high impact-resistant yet flexible polypropylene-copolymer, with the walls of the case measuring 5.3mm in thickness. Despite its large size, the case has remained lightweight and comes in at 4.5kg. Peli have even fitted an automatic air pressure valve to keep air in, and any water out of the case, which has been finished with stainless steel reinforced hardware and double-throw latches, and can be secured using padlocks (not included).
