- Evah Pirazzi cello strings offer an excellent balance between brightness and warmth. The A and D strings have a core of high-tensile steel wound with chromium steel, while the G and C strings have a string core wound with tungsten. This creates a rich sound, with deep resonance in the G and C strings. The different thicknesses of the strings (soft, medium, strong) provide unique sound characteristics. The whole set offers excellent responsiveness over the dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. Ideal for both acoustic and electrically amplified cellos.
