This quick decay and distinctive "crack" make aluminium shells ideal for drummers seeking a vintage sound. Hand-selected snare wires The 24-strand snare wires provide a good balance between snare response and shell tone offering a crisp snappy attack with an enhanced "snarey" character. The increased number of strands results in more contact with the bottom head producing a brighter more pronounced snare sound.
