Similar to more expensive models the 100 cello features a hand-carved maple and spruce body not laminated. This combination of quality tonewoods and hand-carved precision produces a focused sound with plenty of tonal warmth which cannot be achieved with laminated alternatives. A metal alloy tailpiece with fine tuners and ebony fingerboard are not only aesthetically pleasing but are lightweight and easy to use. Hardwearing steel strings mounted on to a maple bridge create a pleasing tone. Everything You Need To ensure that you have the best possible experience Primavera have included everything you need to get started. To keep the cello safe the Primavera 100 comes with a lightweight gig bag that offers strong protection thanks to the 11mm padding. On the outside of the bag you will find three robust handles a name tag and even backpack straps for easy transportation. On the back of the bag there is a large zipped pocket which is perfect for all of your sheet music. The front of the bag features a bow pocket plus a large accessory pocket. To ensure that you can always be seen when commuting Primavera have designed this bag with lots of light reflective strips. The included hardwood bow features an ebony frog and natural horsehair making it durable lightweight and very easy to use.
