- t interrupt your song to chat with the front of house. The Radial HotShot MD can solve this very reasonably for you. An incoming XLR signal goes straight through to output A. Butrrr! If you activate output B and/or C, your output respectively goes there, and not to output A. So if you, as a vocalist, have an instrumental break in your song, you press one of the stomps, and at that moment your microphone signal goes to a different output - one that the front of house should hear but the hall should not. So that way you can communicate with the engineers. Optionally, you can also use this whole idea to put the mic on a sidepath for a moment if you need to take a cough.
