- The Radial JDI is the crown jewel among passive DIs, the show-piece inside being the Jensen transformer to make sure your unbalanced signal is transparently converted to a balanced one. Next to the usual functionality such as a 15 dB pad, phase reversing, ground lift and a Thru connector, the JDI has a few more tricks up its sleeve, including the Merge button to turn the Thru connection into an additional input. - s the Speaker switch, which is sure to please guitarists as it can be pressed to activate a -30 dB pad and a speaker simulation filter for smooth and issue-free integration in a guitar amp and speaker cab set-up.
