This compact effect pedal offers digital delay up to 1200 ms, with the ability to double this in reverse for otherworldly long, atmospheric effects. A special feature of the RD-1 is its integrated pitch and frequency shift, which lets you effortlessly send delays soaring or dropping deep-from subtle modulation to endless psychedelic feedback. Operation is entirely hands-on: rubber buttons with clear markings invite live tweaking, and tap tempo (via foot pedal or external switch) sets everything in a tight rhythm. You can also connect an expression pedal, for example to control the pitch of your repeats live. The trails function lets your delay tail run silently when switching off, and via USB-C you effortlessly update the firmware. Performance on stage and creative studio experimentation come together on the RD-1 in a solid, manageable format.
