Its mahogany body is carefully chambered around a full-length center block, creating sustain you can truly feel. A spruce top brings added shimmer, clarity, and harmonic sparkle, while the semi-hollow design enhances depth, resonance, and musical responsiveness. A new solid aluminum string block provides a stable and solid anchor for the strings, improving sustain, clarity, and tuning stability. A bold finish, violin brown back, and the updated headstock logo give it unmistakable Reverend style, finished with signature Shooting Star f-holes.
Reverend have thoroughly overhauled their in-house humbucker, two of which are fitted to the Charger Air HH. The new Steelhead humbucker features oversize steel poles, and double magnet construction. The oversize poles boost upper frequency response and headroom, for enhanced harmonics and responsive pick attack. The wide magnetic field eliminates volume drop off when bending. The G and high E poles are slightly taller, for consistent volume string to string. An Alnico 5 magnet delivers smooth tone with shimmering highs. A second Ceramic magnet on the opposite side from the steel poles, boosts the bass response, making for a perfectly balanced tonal spectrum.

For ultimate control, the Charger Air HH is fitted with Reverend’s exclusive Bass Contour control. This allows you to passively roll off the bass frequencies, tightening the pickups’ response and making a humbucker sound much more like a single-coil. Because the control is potentiometer rather than switch activated, you effectively have an infinite level of control, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone.

As with all Reverend guitars, the Charger Air HH is built with premium components throughout, including those you can’t see. It uses more consistent ±10% tolerance pots and capacitors (rather than the ±20% parts found on most guitars), and a Pure Tone output jack with dual contacts for a firmer connection, better signal transfer, and improved reliability. A treble bleed circuit maintains clarity when rolling back the volume, while the boneite nut minimises friction, helping the strings glide smoothly through the nut slots for enhanced tuning stability.

The Reverend Charger Air HH is perfect for those seeking warm, rich cleans, extremely responsive overdrive tones, and controllable feedback.

Reverend Charger HH Features

Steelhead Humbucking pickups

Semi-Hollow Mahogany body with Solid Spruce Top

Bolt-on Roasted Maple Neck

Reverend Pin-Lock Tuners

Bass Contour Control

String-Thru-Body bridge with Aluminum Ferrule Block
