Product Fundamentals
-
The Reverend Roundhouse HH is here presented in Metallic Limeade with bound Ebony fretboard. It doesn’t get much more classic than a single-cut, twin humbucker-equipped guitar, but the Roundhouse HH wouldn’t be a Reverend if it didn’t have a few tricks up its sleeve. This latest model comes with brand new Reverend Steelhead humbucking pickups, designed to enhance harmonics and pick attack, while eliminating drop-off when bending. Reverend’s exclusive bass contour control allows you to passively roll off the bass frequecies, making the humbuckers sound much more like single-coils for ultimate versatility.

Buy from Merchant City Music for a customer service experience which matches the quality of the guitar! This latest HH model has been upgraded in key areas, while leaving the good stuff untouched. That means you get the same Korina body with solid Maple archtop and set 3-piece Korina neck, while the fretboard has been upgraded to more premium Ebony. The controls remain the same, but the pickup selector has been positioned more naturally on the upper bout. So far, so subtle.

Where the latest Roundhouse HH really moves the game on is in the pickup department. The brand new Steelhead Humbucker pickups feature oversize steel poles, and double magnet construction. The oversize poles boost upper frequency response and headroom, for enhanced harmonics and responsive pick attack. The wide magnetic field eliminates volume drop off when bending. The G and high E poles are slightly taller, for consistent volume string to string. An Alnico 5 magnet delivers smooth tone with shimmering highs. A second Ceramic magnet on the opposite side from the steel poles, boosts the bass response, making for a perfectly balanced tonal spectrum. A versatile humbucker for those seeking the rich and thick tone of a classic humbucker, but with the punch and responsive pick attack of a modern design!

As with all Reverend guitars, the Roundhouse HH is built with premium components throughout, including those you can’t see. It uses more consistent ±10% tolerance pots and capacitors (rather than the ±20% parts found on most guitars), and a Pure Tone output jack with dual contacts for a firmer connection, better signal transfer, and improved reliability. A treble bleed circuit maintains clarity when rolling back the volume, while the boneite nut minimises friction, helping the strings glide smoothly through the nut slots for enhanced tuning stability.

The Reverend Roundhouse HH is built for players who want a classic feel with cutting-edge performance.

Reverend Roundhouse HH Features

Steelhead Humbucking pickups

Korina Solidbody with Solid Maple Archtop

Three-Piece Korina neck with Ebony fretboard

Reverend Pin-Lock Tuners

Bass Contour Control

Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Stop Tail
