PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
- The Portico 551 is an inductor equaliser from Rupert Neve in 500-series format. This module combines the best features of several legendary Rupert Neve designs. The low band is based on the vintage 1064 and delivers a warm full bass response. It can be used with both shelf- and bell-curve, offering ample bass control options. There is also a high-pass filter with a fixed frequency of 80 Hz, which removes unwanted low-frequency information. The mid-band is based on the 1073 and is ideal for bringing both vocals and instruments to the fore in the mix. 6 base frequencies are provided for this band. The high band can function as either a shelf or a bell and has a frequency of 8 or 16 kHz.
