- The Rupert Neve Portico II Master Buss Processor lays out a stereo compressor followed by a limiter and finished with a Stereo Field enhancer. As you&apos
- d only expect from a mastering-grade processor, this unit comes fitted with a set of balanced XLR inputs and outputs plus a side-chain insert, so an external equalizer can be placed in the detection circuit via the balanced TRS jack ports found around the back. The two compressor/limiter channels can be adjusted independently or linked and, using the Texture knob, the mix can be coated in some silky-smooth saturation. More depth and width can be applied via the Stereo Field Enhancer, where you can easily do things like open up the high-mid frequencies of the Depth channel before taming the low-end of the Width channel, resulting in a more focussed mix.
