- This Sadowsky Blue Label Bass String Stainless Steel Taperwound 32-130 string set gives your 6-string bass guitar a bright sound with sharp highs and tightly defined midrange. Each string has a hexagonal steel core and is wound with stainless steel, they are perfect for slapping, funk, rock and modern fusion. The taperwound B string is wound thinner at the bridge to allow it to vibrate better, providing more resonance and a deep bass tone. Moreover, this way the string also lies flush with the others, significantly increasing playing comfort. This string set is suitable for toploader bridges and cannot be used for string-through-body mounting.
