- The Sadowsky Blue Label Electric Guitar String Set Pure Nickel 10-52 is a hybrid string set for electric guitar, with diameters ranging from .010 to .052 inches. So it lets you play solos and riffs smoothly as well as strike solid power chords, ideal if you play both lead and rhythm guitar. The strings consist of a hexagonal, steel core with pure nickel windings around it. This combination creates a distinctive, warm sound with a rich midrange and less sharpness in the higher frequencies (unlike stainless steel strings, for example).
