The maple neck brings a brightness to the high end and the ebony fingerboard provides a natural aesthetic as well as a comfortable feel beneath the fingers - helping you elevate your playing to the next level. Custom pickups The custom built Nick Johnston pickups offer you the best of both worlds. Designed in a HS configuration the humbucker on the neck will allow you to access more aggressive hard rock tones with a powerful sound that thrives at high outputs and demands to be heard. Ideally suited to heavier styles this humbucking pickup is the perfect weapon for when you want to step your performance up a gear... or four. On the bridge the single-coil pickup offers a richer more delicate sound that will respond well to the dynamics of your playing and is suited towards softer more bluesy styles. Full of clarity and warmth this pickup can also produce a glorious overdriven sound when pushed and is designed with special technology that helps reduce the feedback hum that single-coils are sometimes prone to. Built to last With the Nick Johnston PT tuning between every song will be a thing of the past and the industry standard hardware included will ensure that this guitar will stick with you for a long time. Built with a PT S Hardtail bridge youll be able to enjoy stability alongside sustain for days on end. These bridges are famed for their reliability and have been favoured by many legendary guitarists through the years for this exact reason.
