- Perfect For Film Projects The AVX-MKE2 set is fully self-configured and is ready to film within seconds. The compact receiver is easy to transport and carry and directly fits into the XLR audio input of your camera or recording device. The bodypack transmitter and high-quality lavalier microphone are ideal for hands-free interviews and documentaries that require broadcast quality sound. The AVX is compatible with most cameras and recording device. Powered by phantom power you can simply plug the AVX into the XLR audio input. By utilising phantom power the receiver switches on and off automatically with the camera allowing it to be instantly ready to record and saving battery power when the camera is turned off. MKE 2 Lavalier Microphone The MKE 2 is a high-quality sub-miniature Omni-directional clip-on lavalier microphone that is suitable for all line of live work and productions. The MKE reaches the highest demands of sound quality and toughness thanks to the special ultralight umbrella diaphragm that protects it from sweat. The lavalier microphone is ideal for both speech and instruments that need a quality sound output. The aforementioned umbrella diaphragm and a welded housing make the mic an ideal choice for theatrical productions. EKP AVX Receiver The EKP receiver is ultra-compact and plugs directly into the XLR audio input of your camera or recording device. The receiver by Sennheiser may also be connected to DSLRs with the included mini-jack adaptor. Like all components within the AVX wireless system the receiver was designed to cut down on time-consuming setups and the self-configuring digital transmission features achieve this goal. To save battery power the EKP AVX receiver automatically switched on and off with your camera. Dynamic Range The Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 guarantees perfectly levelled sound no matter whether the recording environment is very quiet or extremely loud. The AVX matches perfectly to the cameras input sensitivity without having to adjust the audio level on the microphone by hand - delivering a flawless performance every time. Link Protection The AVX works faster than the human ear. Before any interference becomes audible the receiver automatically selects the best operating frequency and switches to a clean channel. This means that no matter what happens - perfect audio transmission between the microphone and camera is guaranteed.
