These are 2 passive high-gain dual-coil pickups intended for 8-string electric guitars with a humbucker in the bridge as well as in the neck. These pickups are extra-wound to deliver you tight basses, bright mids and sparkling highs in situations where a lot of distortion or overdrive is needed, such as black metal, death metal and maybe even the heavier rock varieties. The 3 large ceramic magnets assure you of majestic guitar sounds and more than enough sustain for colossal riffs and icy leads. To combat feedback, the elements have undergone a vacuum wax treatment. The 4-core cables also allow you to coil-split both humbuckers for single-coil guitar sounds.
