Vintage output single coil size humbucker voiced for total Strat quack.</p> <p>The Duckbucker is a single coil sized humbucker designed to be wired in parallel to give you a vintage, sparkly single coil tone without any hum. Its unique, split-pole pattern with 3 poles on each coil, helps to give you that familiar single coil bounciness and snappy low end. As a neck pickup, the Duckbucker is great for all types of clean rhythm playing. In the bridge position, the Duckbucker is bright and spanky. Chords will sound bright and crisp and really shimmer with chimey high end. The 4-conductor lead wire gives you access to series wiring (using a push-pull or mini-toggle) for a hotter, humbucker tone. This pickup is a drop-in for any Fender American Standard sized Stratocaster pickup route. Hand built in Santa Barbara
