Product Fundamentals
  • This is the Seymour Duncan Scarlet Neck Humbucker. This is a Mark Holcomb signature dual-coil neck element based on a ceramic magnet, intended for 6-string electric guitars. This guitar element from the Periphery and Haunted Shores guitarist was specifically developed to also excel when used with high gain amp modelling technology. Mark wanted a new neck pickup with even more clarity for complex chords, coil-split capabilities and low guitar tunings. This Scarlet was developed by the team at Seymour Duncan and Holcomb to be a true neck humbucker that delivers you a glassy, fat guitar sound with any playing style. The optimised output gives you perfect tone definition in both clean and mid-gain contemporary tones on your guitar. The is Scarlet is specially designed to work excellently with its Scourge bridge element in either humbucker or single-coil-style switching. Options such as coil-splitting and even 2 parallel coils are possible through the 4-core cable.
