- The Seymour Duncan Pegasus Bridge Trembucker is a modern, double-coil Alnico 5 pickup with a passive design and a sound aimed at progressive metal and rock. This hand-made pickup boasts great string-to-string balance alongside an excellent response. The warm and lush sound shaped by the Alnico 5 magnet and doubled coils is framed by rich harmonics, tight lows and focussed mids, but when you turn up the distortion or overdrive, you get a high resonance peak that brings sparkling trebles and a tight attack, making chords bloom and swell.
