- This is the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Jazz Bass Pickup Set. This is a JJ set of 2 bass guitar pickups, intended for J-style electric bass guitars. These Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups combine high output with a powerful attack. Thanks to the quarter-inch pole pieces and solid coil winding, these singecoil elemente deliver you a full, balanced response with rich sustain and a complex sound that can find its place in any musical style. These pickups offer the extra output of an overwound coil, while retaining the articulation and clarity of a vintage pickup. The neck pickup is RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) wound, eliminating hum when both pickups are used. These pickups are handmade in the USA and equipped with alnico 5 magnets, forbon flatwork plus vacuum-washed to prevent squeaking and feedback.
