- The Seymour Duncan SH-PG1s Pearly Gates Humbucker Set bundles up two Billy Gibbons dual-coils, so you can kit out a solid-bodied electric or semi-hollow electric guitar with some vintage-inspired flavour. Both the 8.2 kOhm bridge pickup and 7.3 kOhm neck pickup are based on the same humbuckers that came mounted on the 1959 Les Paul, so you&apos
- re getting the Texas-grade, emphasised mids of Alnico II magnets. The sound of the bridge pickup has also been tightened up and has a bit more output than old-school PAF humbuckers, fully prepping it for some classic rock and blues. The neck pickup, meanwhile is reinforced by a warm low-end, so it can be engaged to support both leads and rhythms. The pair also come pre-fitted with four-core wires that can be installed for coil-splitting and, to help prevent less welcome feedback, both pickups have been wax-potted.
