- With the Seymour Duncan SHPR-1b P-Rail Humbucker Bridge, you get 1 of the most versatile alnico 5 bridge pickups around. Although this pickup has a humbucker format, you can bring out vintage P90 sounds and bright rail singlecoil ST-style guitar sound in addition to solid dual coil sounds with enough tightness. You can easily do this by correctly connecting the 4-wire cable to an appropriate 3-way switch. The humbucker sound is obtained once the P90-style pole and the rail single-coil side are combined in series. In addition, the 2 coils in series, if desired and so connected, is also possible. The vacuum wax potting ensures that this Seymour Duncan guitar element does not suffer from squeaky feedback.
